- We help because we enjoy it. It makes sense to us. I personally like to get to know the women here, their life stories... I have been working with women all my life in the Czech Republic, and so it naturally continues here as well.My pomáháme, protože nás to těší.
And why do you want to help?
What can you help with?
- 1Pay a woman for a 3-month sewing course in our studio in Varanasí.Having a teaching certificate is a gift here. Women can apply the skills from the course by starting to work from home. They can go to work in a sewing factory and have their own salary. They can make small gift items, sew bags, clothes ... and sell them in the market.
- 2Buy a woman a sewing machine.Remember how your /great/ grandmother didn't have money for him either? How was one in the whole family? Well, it will be similar here, only there will be one in the whole village, maybe. And often the first.
- 3Donate to buy material for our creative studio.Hand made, traditional handicrafts ... We want to provide all this to local women to open up possibilities and inspire.
- 4Pay one woman for an Ayurvedic treatment package. Or physiotherapy, or panchacarma procedures.Problems with urine leakage, incontinence, infertility, gynecological problems. A taboo in our western society? What do you mean in India?
- 5Help women in the village give birth.Labor has begun, but there is no way to get to the maternity hospital. There is no car, often there is no road. It's a motorbike :-). And yet they are born ... and die ... Do you know that little girls die much more than boys? That too is India. Pay for the car and the hospital stay.
- 6Buy menstrual pads for girls. The families of young girls do not have money for pads. The village school often does not even have a proper toilet. And so young girls are dropping out of school. They start working on the family farm and the dreams of high school are gone...
- 7Let's buy a toilet and a shower for the women from the village.Who would want to walk in the fields among snakes. Before the prying eyes of men. To risk shame, rape ... Yes, this is India too.
- 8Adopt a girl and help her with a wedding gift for a better marriage :-).A better dowry means a better marriage. A better husband, to marry into a better family ... We are not changing the local custom of arranged marriages! Sometimes fate is stingy with a girl. Let's give her a chance.
You get more than you give...
If you immerse yourself in the stories of local women, you will be royally gifted. You gain humility, respect, understanding of life and the world. You go back to the beginning. To the essence of living. We are all one.
Project
from women to women
It starts in autumn / winter 2023
You get more than you give...

Jim dáváme to, co my jsme už dostaly. Samy si našly, zvědomily, odvážily se žít ... I když ženy upřímně, jaký je stav těchto témat v naší západní společnosti? A jak to máte každá z vás osobně?

Come. You get more than you give... It might look like this. We will go to a village that we know in advance. Women get together ... and can talk about pregnancy, childbirth, menopause, menstruation, pads, pelvic floor, urinary incontinence, sexual health, intimacy. But also about women's issues in general. About unequal status of women, ecology, sustainable employment of women. Taboo and shame disappear ... we help each other. Worlds intertwine and through them we return to simplicity and essence of life. We give them what we have already received. They found themselves, realized, dared to live ... Although women honestly, what is the state of these topics in our Western society? And how are each of you doing personally?
Help women to women

Seva. Lidská pomoc pro druhé ...

Helping /doing seva/ in India is a way of life, it's something that's all around and it's often not even mentioned in those words. Help. There are people waiting for a donation in front of every temple, on the streed. On many festivals, food, rice, clothes are distributed to pilgrims every year... It is common in India. Unlike in Europe, it often happens just on the street face to face and through various helping organizations. There are so many needed here! Necessary people, places, projects... We see helping others as an opportunity for a miracle, the possibility of turning adverse circumstances into hope. Selfless help is a kind of second chance with respect to karma, fate. Service is a part of all this. Seva. Human help for others ...

For now she is small, then she will get married, take care of her child ... she too will grow up one day ... and there is old age. A woman is the foundation of a family, harmony, well-being, she takes care of the hearth of the home ... A woman deserves above all respect, respect, the possibility of education, enough resources to run her beloved family ... I have been helping women in the Czech Republic with my work as a physiotherapist for 15 years , now it's time to focus on my second home, India ...
